You may notice a theme in these posts. A lot of the posts show you how to get set up with some framework, and then how to test your code against it. The reason why I focus on testing is not because I love testing, but rather I despise bad testing. I think badly written tests (and code) drag you down. They slow you down. Too many people just pick up framework X or infrastructure piece Y, and never design any structure on how they want to use it. They just read a 5 minute how-to, and it becomes the production code pattern going forward.
This becomes immediate technical debt. It pays to pick up a book once in a while, or read several online resources on how to apply something properly. Don't be lazy.
